Lions sign free agent DE Eric Lee to practice squad

Allen Park, Mich. – The Detroit Lions announced today that they have signed free agent DE Eric Lee to the practice squad. Additional contract terms were not disclosed.

In addition, the team announced that they have released RB Nick Brossette from the practice squad.

Lee returns to the Lions after posting six tackles in nine games for the team in 2018. He entered the NFL in 2016 with the Houston Texans as an undrafted rookie free agent out of South Florida and has also spent time on the Buffalo Bills' and New England Patriots' active rosters. In 15 career games (five starts), Lee has totaled 25 tackles, 3.5 sacks and one interception.
