Lions 2020 NFL Draft pick set

No. 3 it is.

The Detroit Lions are slated to select third overall when the 2020 NFL Draft kicks off April 23.

Detroit finishes the year with the league's third worst record at 3-12-1 after Sunday's 23-20 loss to the Green Bay Packers on a last-second field goal at Ford Field. It was their ninth straight loss to end the season.

Cincinnati (2-14) clinched the No. 1 overall pick last week, and Washington (3-13) secured the second overall pick due to their 47-16 road loss to Dallas Sunday night.

No. 3 is the highest the Lions have drafted since taking defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh with the No. 2 overall pick in 2010. Detroit drafted quarterback Matthew Stafford No. 1 overall the year prior.
