COLLEGE: Attended University of Texas from 2000-03. Compiled 152 total tackles, 15 tackles for loss and two sacks during career. Named team’s Joseph W. Moore Award winner for tenacity as sophomore in 2001. Played strong safety as sophomore and cornerback as junior and senior.

  • School-record 64-career passes broken up and 17 interceptions tied school mark.

PERSONAL: Vasher was born in Wichita Fall, Texas. First-team all-state at Texarkana (Tex.) HS. Lettered in basketball and track. Honor roll student.
