Rookie defensive end who will look to earn a rotational role in the Lions defensive line as one of the team’s fourth-round draft picks in 2014.

2014: Appeared on the active roster for two games in 2014, but did not see action on the field. Inactive for the 14 other games during the season.

A former standout in basketball during his first two years at Bloomsburg, Webster’s prospective talent on the football field could only go unnoticed for so long as the converted hoops star joined the Huskies football team in 2012 and made an immediate impact as a defensive end. In only two seasons on the gridiron, Webster finished his college career with 88 tackles, 26 sacks, one interception, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.

2013: As a senior, concluded his college career owning the top two season sack totals in school history, as he added to his school-record total of 13.5 in 2012 with 12.5 sacks in 2013. In all, he totaled 49 tackles, including 16 tackles for loss, one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries while starting all 12 games for the Huskies. His performance earned him a place in the East-West Shrine Game following the season, and he was named First Team All-PSAC for the second time in his career.

  • Earned PSAC East Defensive Athlete of the Week honors after a four-sack, five-tackle performance against Kutztown (9/21).
  • Recorded a career-high 10 total tackles, as well as two sacks, in Bloomsburg’s 42-38 win over Slippery Rock in the PSAC Championship Game (11/16).
  • In the Huskies’ playoff loss to West Chester (11/30), finished the game with seven total tackles.

2012: Took the football field by storm in his first season of collegiate football as he set a school record for sacks in a single season with 13.5, earning First Team All-PSAC honors. Finished the season with 39 tackles, one interception, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. Also hauled in two touchdown receptions as an extra tight end.

  • Picked up a sack in his first college game in a 30-14 win over Edinboro (9/8).
  • Caught a three-yard pass in the corner of the end zone against Millersville (10/6), and caught another touchdown on a fade route against East Stroudsburg (10/13).
  • Recorded a team-high three sacks against Slippery Rock and finished with seven tackles (11/10).

A two-sport athlete at Elkton (Md.) High School, Webster excelled in football and basketball and earned a scholarship to play basketball at Bloomsburg.

  • Owns the Bloomsburg men’s basketball record for career blocked shots with 175.
  • Son of Larry and Melissa Webster. His father, Larry Webster Jr., played in 11 years in the NFL and won a Super Bowl with Baltimore in 2001.
