Martin joins the Lions after entering the League as a fourth-round draft pick by the Texans in 2012. Martin established himself as a versatile, speed threat in his stint with the Texans. During his first three seasons (2012-14), Martin recorded 38 receptions, 416 yards and three receiving touchdowns along with 766 punt return yards and one punt return for a touchdown.
2016: Signed with the 49ers after the start of the regular season. Returned two kickoffs for 37 yards in a Week 6 (10/16) matchup at Buffalo before being released.
2015: Joined the Patriots receiving corps and served as a diverse weapon on offense and special teams. Finished the season with 24 receptions, 269 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns.
2014: Played in all 16 games for a third consecutive season. Recorded six receptions and 78 receiving yards.
2013: Finished with 22 receptions, 253 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Added 39 punt returns for 345 yards and a touchdown, along with 36 kickoff returns for 947 yards.
2012: Completed his rookie year with 10 receptions, 85 receiving yards and one touchdown. Carved out a role on special teams by returning 22 punts for 267 yards and 31 kickoff returns for 741 yards (23.9 avg.).
Four-year letter winner with the Spartans as a receiver and return specialist. Accounted for touchdowns in five different ways in his career (rushing, receiving, passing, punt return and kick return). One of three Spartans in school history to return two punts for touchdowns in a career.
