Signed with the Lions to a Reserve/Future contract following the conclusion of the 2016 regular season. Entered the League as a fourth round draft pick out of Wisconsin in 2014. Spent time on the Packers practice squad before appearing in 15 games from 2015-16. Recorded 10 receptions for 119 yards.
2016: Played in five games with one reception for eight yards before being placed on Reserve/Injured (quadriceps) and released by Green Bay on October 27, 2016.
2015: Played in 10 games after spending the first three weeks on the team’s practice squad. Finished with nine receptions for 111 yards (12.3 avg) and returned two kickoffs for 52 yards (26.0 avg.).
2014: Spent the entire season on Reserve/Injured.
Began his career as a walk-on at Wisconsin and served as a spread quarterback on the scout team in 2009 before making the switch to wide receiver. Was awarded a scholarship after his sophomore season in January 2012. Played in 53 games (39 starts) and finished his career tied for the school record for receptions (202). Finished his senior season (2013) with a school-record 78 receptions, 1,081 yards and seven touchdowns.
Earned First-Team all-state honors as a quarterback after leading Wautoma (Wis.) High School to the WIAA Division 4 state championship.
