COLLEGE
Played two seasons at the University of Houston after spending time at Navarro Junior College (Corsicana, Texas) where he won the 2010 NJCAA national championship. Played in 22 games (21 starts) at Houston before having his senior season cut short due to an injury to his inferior vena cava, suffered in a practice collision.

  • Recorded 127 tackles (90 solo), six interceptions, one sack, 11 tackles for loss, six forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries and 19 pass defenses in two seasons at Houston.
  • Earned First Team All-Conference USA in 2012 and Second Team All-Conference USA in 2011.
