Experienced tight end who joins Detroit’s tight end corps with an ability to contribute on special teams as well. Spent the first four years of his career with the Oakland Raiders, where he played in 34 games and logged 11 receptions for 120 yards.

Established himself as a dual-threat player during his four years at Southern California, where he played both wide receiver and tight end. Ended his college career with 64 receptions for 700 yards and seven touchdowns and started in 11 games. Appeared in all 13 games as a senior, totaling 20 catches for 252 yards and four touchdowns.

PERSONAL
Attended Lemoore (Calif.) High School as a prep star, where he played wide receiver, defensive back and punter. Honors received as a senior included Parade All-America, USA Today First Team All-USA and Yosemite League MVP and was selected to participate in U.S. Army All-American Game. Finished his senior season with 55 receptions for 930 yards (16.9 avg) and 13 touchdowns, while also running for 489 yards on 46 carries and racking up 13 touchdowns.
