Six-foot nine offensive tackle with unrivaled length who joined S Jerome Couplin as the only other undrafted rookie free agents to make the Lions’ opening-day 53-man roster in 2014.

TRANSACTIONS

2015: Started at right tackle in Week 1 at San Diego (9/13), Week 2 at Minnesota (9/20) and Week 3 vs. Denver (9/27) and appeared in 15 games on the season.

  • Saw action in a reserve offensive line role in Week 4 at Seattle (10/5), Week 5 vs. Arizona (10/11), Week 6 vs. Chicago (10/18), Week 7 vs. Minnesota (10/25) and Week 8 at Kansas City (11/1).
  • Inactive in Week 10 at Green Bay (11/15).
  • Saw action on special teams in Week 11 vs. Oakland (11/22).

2013: Started all 13 games as a senior, including the Wildcats’ bowl game vs. Michigan (12/28). Named to the Outland Trophy watch list in his final year.

2012: Took over the starting duties (13 games) at left tackle and helped Kansas State capture the 2012 Big 12 title as he earned First Team All-Big 12 honors from the league’s coaches and second team accolades from the Associated Press and Phil Steele for the first time in his career.

2010-11: Appeared in 12 games as a reserve offensive lineman as a freshman and sophomore.

PERSONAL
Started three years at Edna Karr (La.) High School where he helped the Cougars clinch consecutive district championships in 2007 and 2008. Earned first team all-district honors and was named the outstanding offensive lineman of the year.
