2014: Earned Southland Conference Honorable Mention and All-Academic Team honors.  Set a school record averaging 17.5 yards per catch for the season. Finished second on the team with 350 yards receiving.

  • Had three grabs for 50 yards and a touchdown against Southeastern Louisiana.
  • Had a huge game at Nicholls State with four catches for a career high 116 yards and a touchdown.
  • Was named a College Football Performance Awards (CFPA) Honorable Mention Tight End of the Week for his performance against Nicholls.

2013:  Was the full-time starter at tight end and earned College Sports Madness Third Team All-Independent honors. Was used mostly as a blocking tight end, but made 11 catches for 118 yards and a touchdown.

  • Named CFPA Honorable Mention Tight End of the Week after catching three passes for 25 yards and a touchdown at Sam Houston State.
  • Hauled in his first career reception in a win over Texas College.
  • Had a season long 21-yard catch against Houston Baptist.

2012:  Appeared in eight games at tight end for the Cardinals as a freshman.

PERSONAL
Was a two-way star at Sacred Heart Catholic High School (Texas).  Earned first team all-district, all-area and second team all-state honors as a senior. Was the district defensive most valuable player and first team all-state. Was an academic all-state selection. Led Sacred Heart to a state championship as a senior.
