TRANSACTIONS:

  • Claimed off waivers by Detroit Lions October 28, 2010.
  • Claimed off waivers by Arizona Cardinals September 6, 2010.
  • Drafted by the Cleveland Browns in 5th Round (140th Overall) in the 2005 NFL Draft.

PRO: Originally with Cleveland Browns where he started 27 of 48 games. Spent the start of 2010 with the Arizona Cardinals.

2011: Back-up cornerback, starter at nickel.

  • In the Lions 26-23 overtime win at Minnesota, he had crucial pass defense in the third quarter on third down of the Vikings third drive of the half. The knockdown forced the Vikings into its third-straight 3-and-out series and the Lions capitalized with their second touchdown of the half. He ended the game with 2 tackles and 1 pass defense.
  • Registered two special team tackles in the Lions 24-13 win over Chicago (10/10) as the team limited any big plays form All-Pro KR Devin Hester.
  • Had 3 tackles vs. Carolina (11/20) and vs. Green Bay (11/24).
  • Inactive due to injury at New Orleans (12/4).

2010: Back-up cornerback.

  • Made first start with Lions at nickel cornerback against the New York Jets (11/7). Recorded two tackles (2 solo).
  • Recorded season-high four tackles (2 solo) and added one special teams tackle against Chicago (12/5).
  • Started game against Green Bay (12/12), as defense opened with three cornerbacks. Recorded season-high five tackles (4 solo), recovered a fumble and had one special teams tackle before leaving game early with a broken arm.
  • Placed on Reserve/Injured December 14, 2010.

2009: Played in all 16 games for the Browns, starting in 10 and recording 47 tackles, 10 passes defensed, one sack, one forced fumble, and an INT to go along with five special teams tackles.

2007: Played in all 16 games as a rookie for the Browns, starting in two of the final four contests and recording 15 total tackles, two INTs, and finished tied for second on the team with 11 passes defensed.
