Saw action in 50 games, making 28 starts at Southern Mississippi. Tallied 116 total tackles, 30 tackles for loss, 5 ½ sacks, two forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, one interception and three pass defenses.

2012: Appeared in all 12 games, making 10 starts. Totaled 24 tackles, including a career-best 9 1/2 tackles for loss, a sack, an interception, a forced fumble and two passes defensed.
2011: Appeared in all 14 games, making seven starts. Totaled 24 tackles, including nine tackles for loss.
2010: Saw action in all 13 contests, and was named to Conference USA’s All-Freshman team.
Attended Bay High School in Panama City, Fl. where he was a defensive lineman and a fullback. Was named to the Orlando Sentinel Top-100 Team, and played in the North-South Football All-Star Classic his senior season.
