Biography

A four-year staple on the Robert Morris offensive line, Dalton made 37 starts in his four years for the Colonials, beginning his career at guard before shifting to left tackle for the majority of his tenure. He made each of his final 31 starts at left tackle.

COLLEGE
A four-year staple on the Robert Morris offensive line, Dalton made 37 starts in his four years for the Colonials, beginning his career at guard before shifting to left tackle for the majority of his tenure. He made each of his final 31 starts at left tackle.

  • Became one of only 11 Colonials in program history ever to be selected as an All-American by The Sports Network.

2013: Provided an invaluable veteran presence as a senior along RMU’s offensive line, starting all 11 games for the second time in three years and earning First Team All-Northeast Conference honors. Helped the Colonials offense win the time of possession battle in every NEC game as the team went on to lead the league in that category.

  • Allowed only one sack in 2013.

2012: Part of an offensive line that helped the Robert Morris rushing attack run for at least 170 yards in four consecutive games, one of only two such occurrences by the Colonials since 2001.

2010: Season-long starter as a sophomore along the Colonials offensive line. Helped RMU to an NEC Championship and the first national playoff berth in league history.

  • Helped the Colonials offense set a single-season record for rushing yards with 2,021.

PERSONAL
Four-year letterman at Carrollton (Ohio) High School under head coach Dan Detwiler. Named to the All-Ohio Third Team as a senior in 2009 and was a two-time All-Northeastern Buckeye Conference (2008, 2009) honoree.
