Biography

Charles Brensinger enters his sixth season with the Lions player personnel department and his third as a pro scout. He completed an internship in the Lions personnel department in 2012 before being promoted to pro personnel assistant in 2014, a role he served for three seasons.

Charles Brensinger enters his sixth season with the Lions player personnel department and his third as a pro scout. He completed an internship in the Lions personnel department in 2012 before being promoted to pro personnel assistant in 2014, a role he served for three seasons.

While with the club, Brensinger has assisted with several player personnel projects, including evaluation and production of various scouting reports, annual NFL Draft prep, free agency acquisitions and other daily administrative tasks.

Prior to joining the Lions, Brensinger worked as the assistant director of football operations at Princeton from 2011-12. Following his internship with the Lions, he completed another internship with the New York Giants pro personnel department during the 2013 season.

Brensinger is a native of Catasauqua, Pa. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in legal studies, and later received a Master’s of Science in Sports Management from Temple University in 2012.
