The19th annual Detroit Lions Courage House Dinner will feature NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Ford Field. Goodell will be the guest speaker for the dinner that annually benefits HAVEN, Oakland County’s premier center for the prevention and treatment of domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse.

Proceeds will target child abuse prevention and treatment programs. Previous banquets have raised approximately $1.8 million for HAVEN.
Two major Lions’ awards will be presented during the dinner program: The Ed Block Courage Award goes to a Lions’ player who has overcome injury and/or adversity to excel on the field and the Ricky Sandoval Award recognizes individuals who have made contributions in both sports and the community.
