"Looking at the first three preseason games, our focus is good when we play at home, but when we were on the road in Cleveland, it wasn't the same. We've just got to do a better job at focusing and paying attention to detail and doing the little things right -- especially on the road because it's harder to win on the road than it is to win at home.
"Accomplishing that starts with the leadership on the team. It's not just about one guy. It is seeing some of the older guys doing it the right way and it trickles down. We have to make sure we are constantly creating an environment of focusing and preparing ourselves as best as we can every day, not just one day here and there. It has to be every day and that's tough.
"We haven't had Calvin the past two games and, obviously when he's not in there, teams play us a lot differently and his presence out there alone changes a lot for our offense. I actually think it's kind of better for us getting this experience without him in there. It's not going to be as easy because, when he's in there, obviously everybody else is in man coverage.
"So now, we're kind of playing honest, so to speak. I think it's better for us that we're getting this experience and the guys are working harder and we're seeing what life is like without him in there. If we can be successful without him in there right now in the preseason, then we're going to be that much better when he gets back."
