Reggie Bush Blog: "The fans have every right to be upset"

Posted Dec 20, 2013

In his weekly blog on detroitlions.com, Reggie Bush talks about the state of the Lions, the fans and the final two games

The fans have every right to be upset, but we need them to stick by us. We are not out of this thing yet, and we don’t know what is going to happen in these next two games. We are still in the hunt and we just have to finish strong. That is the biggest thing I can say. I know the fans are upset and they have every right to be upset. We just need to get these next two games.

These past five weeks, we've lacked discipline and it has hurt us when the games really counted. We have to be able to clean up the discipline and have to be able to finish games. The last two games we have lost in the fourth quarter, in the last few minutes or whatever.

We have had three great practices this week. I have never been worried about our preparation or the way we practice. Just about every team in the NFL prepares the same way; we all prepare hard, we all practice hard, but at the end of the day it’s about bringing that onto the football field on Sundays and that is what we need to do.

We have to be able to bring all of this preparation, all of this hard work that we put in onto the football field.
