"It felt good to get into the stadium. It was my first time there, actually, I had never been in there before. Felt good just to get a feel for the stadium, get a feel for the offense, see where we are, see what we need to improve on -- just gauge where we're at as a team.
"I feel like we're in a good spot right now. Obviously we made some mistakes, but we did a lot of good things, too. There's always room for improvement, but I'm happy where we're at and look forward to improving this week.
"For the most part, we were pretty prepared. I think they might have caught us once or twice in situations where we weren't as prepared as we could have been, but for the most part, I thought we handled it well and it's part of the first preseason game.
"I thought, all in all, the offense played well throughout the whole game. We didn't turn the ball over, which is key, and we played pretty sound football. We didn't have a whole lot of penalties.
"Those are really the things that you look for in that first preseason game; mental mistakes, turning the ball over, stuff like that, and we really didn't have too much of any of those.
"(The defender dropping to me on Calvin's 58-yard catch ...) it's good that we have that. It's good that we can feed of that and hopefully we'll use more of that to our advantage because that's definitely something that can create mismatches for defenses as you saw.
"Those are just some of the little things that we're going to use to our advantage this year and then hopefully it's going to score us a lot of points, which I think it should."
