DETROIT – Get ready to duck, dodge, dip, and jump! Detroit Lions Safety Don Carey is hosting a Charity Dodgeball Tournament at AirTime Trampoline & Game Park (662 E Big Beaver Rd.) in Troy, Michigan, on Monday, November 13, 2017, from 6:00pm-9:00pm. Carey and his Detroit Lions teammates will referee the tournament to raise funds for The Don Carey REECH Foundation to provide free S.T.E.M. educational programs for local students.
This is not your typical dodgeball tournament. In addition to celebrity NFL Player-referees, dodgeball at AirTime is played on a wall-to-wall trampoline court!
"This event is going to a great time," said Carey. "It's a great way for fans and families to get out and have a fun, active night together, meet some of the guys from the Lions, and support a very worthy cause. I love getting out in the community, and supporting the community, especially when it comes to educational initiatives for kids and students. Events like this, while a lot of fun, make a huge difference in the lives of the young people it will benefit"
Participants in Carey's Dodgeball Tournament will also have full access to AirTime's 30,000 square feet of wall-to-wall trampolines, Olympic-grade foam mosh pits, Slam-Dunk trampoline basketball, arcade, and concessions, as well as high-energy music from a live DJ, pizza, pop, and the chance to win prizes throughout the evening and meet their favorite Detroit Lions Players all for a good cause!
Tickets and registration for the Don Carey Dodgeball Tournament are available at www.doncarey.eventbrite.com. Admission cost for tournament participants and spectators is $26 and includes pizza, jump time, pop and entry into the Dodgeball Tournament. ALL attendees must have a ticket to enter. Children under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present.
All proceeds from the Don Carey Dodgeball Tournament at AirTime Trampoline & Game Park on November 13th will benefit the REECH Foundation's free educational initiatives to help local students reach their maximum potential.
