The Detroit Lions and Jon Baldwin are hoping the third team is a charm.
The Lions claimed Baldwin off waivers from San Francisco on Monday, and released receiver
Baldwin was drafted by Kansas City with the No. 26 overall pick in the 2011 draft, but lasted just two seasons with the Chiefs before he was traded to San Francisco before last season. The 49ers released him after just one season on Sunday.
Baldwin, 24, has good size at 6-foot-4, but has just 44 catches for 607 yards and two touchdowns in three seasons. He caught three passes for 28 yards in seven games with San Francisco last year.
