PRACTICE REPORT: WR Calvin Johnson, T Riley Reiff participate in open portion

WR Calvin Johnson was back at practice Thursday while T Riley Reiff worked with trainers off to the side

The Lions are getting healthier ahead of Sunday's matchup with the Dallas Cowboys at Ford Field.

Receiver Calvin Johnson (knee), safety Louis Delmas (knee), tackle Riley Reiff (hamstring), defensive tackle Andre Fluellen (concussion) and linebacker Ashlee Palmer (ankle) all participated in the portion of practice open to the media after missing Wednesday's session. They were all listed on the injury report as limited.

Reiff was working more with trainers off to the side during position drills, but it's a good sign the second-year left tackle was back at practice at all after suffering that hamstring injury last week vs. Cincinnati.

Tackle Corey Hilliard (knee) and receiver Nate Burleson (forearm) were the only two players on the roster that didn't participate in practice. Burleson has already been ruled out of Sunday's game and it doesn't look good at this point for Hilliard.

Tackle Jason Fox participated in his second practice – albeit in limited fashion – this week after returning Wednesday. He hadn't practiced since injuring his knee in Green Bay. If he and Reiff continue on their current paths, it seems likely Fox will start at right tackle and Reiff will assume his spot at left tackle.

Tight end Brandon Pettigrew showed up on the injury report for the first time Thursday with a hamstring injury. He was limited in practice.

Running back Theo Riddick has been a full participant in practice both days this week and is expected to see his first action on Sunday since suffering a concussion in Green Bay Oct. 6.
