The Detroit Lions began on-field preparations for Sunday’s Week 2 matchup in Arizona and did so for the portion of practice open to the media without starting right tackle Jason Fox
Fox suffered a groin injury on the second series of last week’s win against Minnesota and did not return to the game. Corey Hilliard played the rest of the way and would likely start this week in the event Fox was unable to play.
The Lions will release their first injury report of the week today at 4 p.m. on detroitlions.com.
The only other player not participating in the early portion of practice was safety Don Carey, who was injured after a making a special team’s tackle last week.
Head coach Jim Schwartz described Carey’s injury as "soft tissue" during his Monday press conference.
Running back Reggie Bush, who suffered a pulled groin and dislocated left thumb last week, was a full participant in the open portion of practice.
