The Detroit Lions were without three fourths of their starting secondary at practice on Wednesday.
What a difference a day makes.
Today, three fourths of the secondary was on the field and taking part in the portion of practice open to the media.
S Glover Quin on the practice field Thursday.
Safeties Glover Quin (ankle) and Louis Delmas (knee) returned to practice, albeit in limited fashion, after sitting out Wednesday.
Cornerback Chris Houston was the only starter in the secondary who did not practice today. He missed a second consecutive practice with that sore hamstring and his availability for Sunday is in question.
The Lions will release designations for Sunday’s game in Green Bay at 4 p.m. Friday.
Also missing a second day of practice this week was receiver Calvin Johnson, who is dealing with a knee injury. Johnson did finish last week’s game in Chicago and it has been customary for him to sit out practice during the week.
Also missing from practice was linebacker Ashlee Palmer, whose been dealing with an ankle injury for the last couple weeks. The injury has not prevented him from playing in all four games, though.
Also listed on today’s injury report as "limited" were: defensive end Ziggy Ansah (abdomen), guard Rob Sims (shoulder) and defensive end Israel Idonije (hamstring). Idonije was not listed on Wednesday’s report.
Receiver Patrick Edwards (ankle), tackle Jason Fox (groin) and cornerback Rashean Mathis (head) were full participants in practice for a second consecutive practice.
