PRACTICE REPORT: Lions healthy heading into Sunday's showdown with Chicago

Posted Sep 27, 2013

Only safety Louis Delmas was absent from the portion of practice open to the media on Friday, and that's been his normal schedule all season

The Lions were back on the practice field for the final time this week today as they continue preparations for Sunday’s matchup with the Chicago Bears at Ford Field.

If the last two days of practice are any indication, the Lions should have all hands on deck for the early NFC North showdown, too.

On Thursday, the only player on the active roster to miss practice was receiver Nate Burleson (broken forearm), even though 12 players were listed as limited on the injury report.

Friday, only Burleson and safety Louis Delmas sat out. Delmas sitting out Friday's session for a "maintenance day" to rest that sore left knee has been his normal schedule all year and he's played in all three games this year.

The team will release designations for Sunday’s game at 4 p.m. today on Detroitlions.com.

It’s expected the team will have nearly its entire 53-man roster available for the game.
