Posted Sep 18, 2013

The Lions had five players who did not practice Wednesday and another two who were limited

The injury report doesn't look a whole lot different than today's practice report, except in two areas.

Today's practice report indicated that running back Reggie Bush (knee), receiver Patrick Edwards (ankle), right tackle Jason Fox (groin), safety Louis Delmas (knee) and safety Don Carey (hamstring) did not participate in practice. The injury report confirms those absences from the first practice of the week.

Defensive tackle Nick Fairley (shoulder) participated in the portion of practice open to the media today, but was a limited, according to the injury report.

A new addition to this week's injury report is starting left guard Rob Sims, who was a limited participant with a knee injury. Sims played in all 58 snaps in Arizona and he isn't expected to miss any playing time due to the injury.

The Lions will release game designations for Sunday's game in Washington at 4 p.m. Friday on Detroitlions.com.
