Here's an early look at 10 prospects who could interest the Lions with the No. 10 overall selection in May's NFL Draft

The NFL season is over and we all know that means the focus is quickly shifting toward free agency and the NFL draft.

The next major date for the NFL is February 19, which is the start of the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis.

The Lions are coming off one of their best draft classes in recent memory in 2013, and they'll be looking to build another successful class on its heels.

It all starts with the No. 10 overall pick for the Lions. The easiest way to mess up a draft is to miss on a first-round pick. Those are the players who become the core pieces of a team, especially the way the rookie salary scale is set up nowadays.

So, who are some names that could be in the conversation for the Detroit Lions at No. 10?

The Lions haven’t measured a time at the combine, gone through a player interview, seen a campus workout or brought a player to Allen Park for an interview, which means this is a way-too-early look at 10 players who might fit at No. 10.
