Jason Hanson gave the Lions a 3-0 lead in the first quarter by nailing a 44-yard field goal. The 44-yard field goals was Hanson’s 188th career 40 -yard field goal, setting NFL record for the most 40 -yard field goals in NFL history. He broke the previous record established by K Morten Andersen.
