It's almost time to bring the Honolulu blue and silver back to the practice field.

The 2014 ATI Detroit Lions Training Camp schedule has been announced with eight practices open to the general public.

Practice times vary from early morning to later in the evening, mirroring head coach Jim Caldwell's emphasis on practicing situational football.

Who earned a #2 ranking in the NFL's Top 100 players? Our very own Calvin Johnson, of course.

When asked what it will take to grab the #1 spot, Johnson said:

“We need to win a Super Bowl. That’s the No. 1 thing. That’s the No. 1 thing (and) should be for every team going into the beginning of the year.

“We’re definitely in a place where we feel we could do that.”
