All students at JLRA have been sent an assignment from Tulloch to write a 1-2 page essay on leadership, why it’s important and what it means to them. On October 16, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. Tulloch will join Rose at the High School where he will have lunch with the students, collect their essays and speak to them about leadership.
Once the essays are turned in, a Wayne State University Professor will grade the papers and the two teams with the highest average will be awarded a trip to the Detroit Lions game with the JRLA staff on October 28, when they play the Seattle Seahawks.
“It’s great to be able to work with Jalen again this year and see how much of a success the school has been for him and his team, it’s great to come out and meet the students. They get really excited about this contest so it’s fun for me to read what they’ve written and check out ,” said NFL player Tulloch.
Throughout the 2012 season, Tulloch will be partnering with local companies for each Detroit Lions home game to help bring groups of 55 kids from various schools and organizations across Detroit. Participants will have a once in a lifetime game day experience including; a Stephen Tulloch Foundation shirt, food and beverage at the game along with additional gifts from Stephen himself.
