Stephen Tulloch's 4th Annual Athletes Adopting Families for the Holidays Event

Posted Nov 16, 2012

On December 7, 2012, Stephen Tulloch and friends will team up with Angels of Hope to bring the Southeast Michigan business community together for a special evening, the 4th Annual Athletes Adopting Families for the Holidays event at Tre Monti in Troy, MI (1695 East Big Beaver Road Troy, MI 48083).

Stephen Tulloch launched his own program, Operation 55, upon signing with Detroit last season and has helped hundreds of children and families across the Metro Detroit area by adopting them for the holidays, providing kids dental care, promoting educational projects at the Jalen Rose Leadership Academy and now partnering with Angels of Hope to help provide a Christmas for families that have been affected by cancer.

Past supporting Detroit athletes of this annual event include current Detroit Lions standouts Louis Delmas, Nate Burleson and other active players.  Detroit Pistons’ Charlie Villanueva, Ben Gordon and Rick Mahorn have also supported in past years. Additional supporters include former University of Michigan Fab 5 Stars Jalen Rose and Jimmy King, Detroit Lions 4-time All-Pro Wide Receiver Herman Moore, 7-time All-Pro and Super Bowl Champion Lomas Brown along with U of M lineman Mike Martin, actress and Mittens for Detroit Founder Erin Cummings and Biggest Loser Season 7 Winner Helen Phillips.

“I’m really excited to have this event and raise money for my foundation to help people in Detroit during this holiday season,” Tulloch said.  “It’s great to know that I’m in a position to help others and really make a difference in their lives.  A lot of local companies such as Fathead, Quicken Loans, ESPN Detroit Radio, Stonebridge Financial, Comerica Bank and more have stepped up to help us put this event on and it’s great to see all the local businesses support me and my foundation’s efforts.”

The event will include food, music, great company and lots of great surprises throughout the evening! There will be a live and silent auction and our annual bottle drawing and donation table that one lucky guest will go home with an exclusive piece of jewelry from Lucido Fine Jewelry.

Tickets to attend the event are $150. Purchase Tickets.
