FROM THE PODIUM
"It's a long season. You have to be able to persevere through a lot of ups and downs. We had some today. We'll bounce back from it. It's no different than the end of the Arizona game." -- Head coach Jim Schwartz on the disappointment of this loss.
"We certainly game planned for his absence. We were prepared in any case. We were prepared for him to go in and do everything, prepared for him to be limited and prepared for him to not play. He ended up not playing today. It didn't take us by surprise. We knew he didn't practice very much this week." -- Schwartz on how much the Lions game-planned for WR
"It's a talented secondary they have. I know that, in previous games, teams have put up some points on them. Those guys have ability. I think their bye week suited them well. Think they did a great job of coming out and game planning us and making some plays on defense. We didn't turn the ball over, which is always good, but we've got to make some plays." -- QB
"It's frustrating to lose a game. It doesn't matter who or where it is. Anytime you lose a game, it's disappointing. We have a tough group in there. Guys are going to work hard and bounce back. We'll be fine. We'll get some guys back from injury and we'll be ready to play." -- Stafford on not breaking the losing streak at Lambeau Field.
FROM THE LOCKER ROOM
"We just weren't able to keep up the tempo with them. We gave up a couple big plays early in the second half. Those field goals add up, we have to stop them before they get in scoring range." -- LB
"You have to. It's a division game, a tough loss but Cleveland doesn't care, they don't have sympathy. We have to come in, correct it and not let in snowball into the next week." -- Levy on bouncing back from the loss.
"It's tough. You see your boys out there grinding and not to be able to be out there with (them is tough). You always want to be out there to play with them. Especially on Sundays, it's the one chance of the week." -- WR Calvin Johnson on it being difficult to be on the sideline.
"It's hard to say. You can't say what if. I don't even go there." -- Johnson on if the end-result would have been different had he been playing.
"We can't make excuses for ourselves. Whether Calvin is playing or not, we still have to find a way to get it done. It's part of football. I have to do a better job of running the ball after today. I didn't play well today. We have to bounce back this week, find a way to get better and find a way to get a win next weekend in Cleveland." -- RB
"I was on the other side field. It was a cover two situation, I will have to watch film and see exactly what happened. That's all I can tell you right now." -- CB
"It wasn't about being surprised, it wasn't about anything that happened. We put ourselves in a hole. Defense, I thought, played their butt off and we couldn't give them anything, couldn't get going early." -- C
