While Head Coach Jim Schwartz says it isn't overly serious, the Lions are holding him out so he can heal.
“He’s got a little crack in his hand – no surgery or anything like that," said Schwartz. "Being a ball carrier, it’s important to be able to protect the ball. The one thing is: we don’t have a lot of contact now, but a lot of our guys are slapping at the ball and things like. We want to avoid it getting hit for a little while, but there’s really nothing to be concerned about."
