Allen Park, Mich.—In a letter sent to season ticket holders today, the Detroit Lions emphasized the team’s pledge to “consistently deliver a top-tiered team on the field” while maintaining an average season ticket price that ranks among the most affordable in the NFL. Additionally, the team will significantly increase ancillary benefits offered to season ticket holders.
“While providing you with a championship football team remains our No. 1 priority, we also want to ensure an affordable experience at Ford Field,” stated Lions President Tom Lewand to season ticket holders.
In 2011, the Lions average season ticket price of $66.71 ranked lower (28th overall) than any other playoff team.
