Team activates CB Alphonso Smith off Active/Non-Football Injury list and places T Johnny Culbreath on Reserve/Injured list

Allen Park, Mich. -- The Detroit Lions announced today that they have activated CB Alphonso Smith off of the Active/Non-Football injury list, placed T Johnny Culbreath on Reserve/Injured and released 26 players to trim their roster down to the NFL-mandated 53-man limit prior to the 6 p.m. ET league deadline.

Individual game tickets for seven of the Lions’ eight (Chicago Monday Night game October 10 is sold out) 2011 regular season games at Ford Field are on sale now, including tickets to the team’s home opener against Kansas City Sunday, September 18. Fans can also purchase tickets for Lions’ regular season games in person at the Ford Field Ticket Office from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and at all Ticketmaster outlets.
