Warford, who started in all 16 regular season games for the Lions at right guard, had an impressive rookie season and was fittingly awarded the 2013 Detroit Lions Rookie of the Year.

Sims, who joined the Lions in 2010, has been a mainstay at left guard, and a favorite for the media.

The Detroit Chapter of the Pro Football Writers Association in conjunction with the DSBA named Sims its 2013 Media-Friendly "Good Guy" award winner, which is given annually to the player who shows consideration to, and cooperation with the media at alll times during the season.

The Lions' offensive line finished second in the league for sacks allowed per pass play (23) and helped pave the way for running back Reggie Bush to become the team's first 1,000-yard rusher since 2004.

Bush and Joique Bell also became the first running back tandem in NFL history to each record at least 500 yards rushing and receiving in a single season.

Both players will be presented with their awards prior to the 2014 NFL season.
