Golfer drives off in new Lincoln after sinking hole-in-one at Detroit Lions Invitational

DETROIT, JULY 23rd, 2012 - Golfer Jimmy Powers won a 2012 Lincoln Navigator, at the 22nd Annual Detroit Lions Invitational. The Invitational was held on Wednesday, June 6th, 2012, at TPC of Michigan, where 180 golfers, sponsors and Lions players, joined together for a competitive round of golf.

Golfers had the opportunity to win hole-in-one prizes at various holes throughout the course – the two major prizes being a 2012 Lincoln Navigator at the eight hole and a 2013 Ford Mustang at the 12th hole, both sponsored by Ford Motor Company.

Powers’ hole-in-one at the 160-yard eighth hole occurred on the first hole played by Powers’ group - and is the first “Hole-in-One” in the Detroit Lions Invitational’s 22-year history. Powers picked up his new vehicle at Jack Demmer Lincoln in Dearborn on Monday, July 23rd.
