Detroit, MI - Detroit Lions’ star safety 
Royda Urey of We R Love, Inc ., Charles Wells of Status Holdings Group, Sherrie Handrinos of Boost1Marketing, Alex Dumervil , President and Rene Lumene, Vice President of We R Love and Detroit Lion Louis Delmas have come together to assemble a spectacular event where 100% of proceeds will be donated to assist with the relief efforts in Haiti. The event will be held at Bookies Bar in Downtown Detroit (2208 Cass Ave, Detroit MI), on February 27th, 2010 at 9:00 PM. “Seeing this amount of disaster in my home country has been heart- wrenching,” says Delmas, who comes from a Haitian background. “I feel that it is my responsibility as a Haitian and an athlete to help where I can and this event is one of many ways I see that goal being accomplished.”
The evening will begin with a VIP Reception (limited amount of tickets) from 8:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. VIP tickets are priced at forty dollars ($40), which includes: open bar, appetizers, meet & greet, and a gift bag that include autographs from Delmas. Tickets are limited, and can be obtained through Bookies Bar and Boost 1 Marketing. The venue will be open to the public at 9:00 PM where the night will conclude with guests partying for a purpose! General admission at the door is based on a sliding scale ranging from fifteen to twenty- five dollars ($15-$25).
“With the proceeds generated from this event we plan on assessing the need in Haiti at the time and provide the supplies necessary,” said Alex Dumervil, President of We R Love. “ We are excited and appreciative of our comrades in Detroit who have opened their hearts to the people of Haiti.”
