During the closure, northbound I-75 motorists will be directed to westbound I-96, to eastbound I-94, then back to northbound I-75. Southbound motorists will be directed to westbound I-94, to eastbound I-96, then back to southbound I-75. The ramps from northbound and southbound M-10 to southbound I-75 will be open over the entire weekend. To accommodate fans heading to the Detroit Lions game, crews will open the ramp from northbound I-75 to Grand River Avenue starting at .. Sunday.
Beginning Monday, Sept. 22, I-75 will have three lanes open in each direction under M-1 with traffic shifted towards the outside shoulders of the freeway. In addition, the Clifford Street entrance ramp to northbound I-75 will remain closed until fall 2015.
