The Detroit Lions and Ford Field Management offer paid internships in a variety of departments to provide a hands-on learning experience with a professional sports organization and entertainment destination. The Lions’ Internship program is an excellent step toward a future career in the sports industry.
Opportunities are available to a variety of academic majors – including, but not limited to, Broadcasting, Business, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, Sports Administration, and more.
- Internships are available in Athletic Training, Broadcasting, Community Relations, Digital Media, Equipment Room, Events, Football Administration, Groundskeeping and Turf Management, Marketing & Promotions, Media Relations, Scouting/Pro Personnel, Partnerships & Suite Sales, Training Camp Promotions, Video, and Youth Football Programs.
- NFL Minority Coaching Fellowships are available. Candidates must apply through the National Football League.
Interns are responsible for providing their own travel, transportation, and housing.
