Player Appearances & Donation Requests
To Request a Player Appearance:
If you are interested in having a Detroit Lion appear as a speaker or make an appearance at an event you are having, please send a written request to:
Detroit Lions Community Affairs
222 Republic Drive
Allen Park, MI 48101
Appearance requests can also be emailed to kim.doverspike@lions.nfl.net. Donation requests must be sent via mail.
In your written request, please include information about the organization and appearance, where it will be held, when it will be held, what the player would be expected to do and the honorarium available for the player. We appreciate a six-week advance notice for appearances.
During the season, the players only day off is Tuesday, so that is the only day they are available at that time. During the offseason, the schedule is more flexible, but keep in mind that many players do not live here during the offseason.
We try to accommodate as many requests as possible, but please keep in mind that the number of requests we receive far outweighs those that we are able to fill.
To Request a Donation:
If you are having a fundraising or charitable event and are interested in a merchandise donation from the Detroit Lions, please send a written request to:
Detroit Lions Community Affairs
222 Republic Drive
Allen Park, MI 48101
We do not accept email requests for donations.
We require that all requests for donations are in writing on the letterhead of the requesting agency (i.e. Children's Hospital, Ronald McDonald House). The requests should be specific as to the need and the date that the fund-raising event is being held. Requests are required six weeks in advance of the date of the event.
While each request is valid and worthwhile, it is impossible to adequately fill the number we receive. Thus, we have had to primarily limit our favorable replies to those in Michigan and the immediate region.
Also, we do not have tickets available for these events due to National Football League restrictions, revenue-sharing policies and other limitations.
